Please RSVP by 7 February 2027

7 – 8 August 2027 · Błaszki, Poland
As is customary in Poland, guests do not need to pay for food or drinks at the wedding. Food will be served throughout the celebration, and drinks are included — including around one bottle of vodka for every two guests, plus a cocktail bar.
Błaszki is a quiet little town rather than a tourist hotspot. It is where Daria grew up, so it is deeply personal to us, but guests should know there is not much to do near the church, venue or hotel. That is why we recommend staying in Wrocław either side of the wedding weekend if you want to make more of the trip.
The ceremony will take place in Daria's family church in the town where she grew up. It is also where her parents and all of her sisters were married, so it means a great deal to us to begin married life there too.
There is no formal dress code — wear whatever makes you feel wonderful. The only obvious request is no white or ivory unless you're the bride. If you would like to avoid clashing with the wedding party, here are the colours to be aware of:
We respectfully ask that guests do not bring children to the wedding celebrations. Our nieces and nephews will be attending as part of the wedding party, but otherwise this will be an adults-only event.
Hotel Napoleon · booked exclusively for us
Smardzew 64, 98-285 Smardzew, Poland
We've booked Hotel Napoleon exclusively for our wedding guests, so you'll be staying alongside family and friends. There are a limited number of rooms, so we'll allocate rooms fairly once everyone has confirmed what they need.
Open in MapsWe completely understand that some guests may prefer to arrange their own accommodation. Please just bear in mind that Błaszki and the surrounding villages are very quiet, so hotels and Airbnbs are scarce in the area. If you stay elsewhere, you will also need to arrange your own transport to and from the church, venue and hotel, which may be a challenge in such a quiet rural area.
As we're personally liable for the hotel booking, if you reserve a room and later need to pull out at short notice and we can't fill it, we may need to ask you to cover that room's cost. Please only request the nights you're confident you'll need — and thank you for understanding.
Our recommendations for a smooth trip
For UK guests, we recommend flying to Wrocław and basing yourself there either side of the wedding weekend. Błaszki is a quiet family town rather than a tourist destination, so Wrocław is the better place to stay if you want restaurants, bars, sightseeing and a proper city break around the wedding.
Our number-one recommendation, and where we always stay when we're in Wrocław. It's right beside the Old Town Square, in the heart of everything.
View HotelThe wedding is taking place in and around Błaszki, the town where Daria grew up. It is a quiet local town, not a tourist hotspot, and Hotel Napoleon is the practical base we have secured for guests during the wedding weekend. The church is especially meaningful to us as it is Daria's family church, where her parents and sisters were also married.
If you follow our recommended Wrocław plan, the Saturday coach will take you from Wrocław to Hotel Napoleon, then from the hotel to the church at 3:00pm. After the ceremony, transport from the church to Villa Feniks will be arranged for all guests, with a few runs if needed as the venue is only a few minutes away.
For guests using our Wrocław coach plan. Guests making their own arrangements can still join the church-to-venue transport after the ceremony.
We'll confirm the Sunday outbound arrangements closer to the date.
The two Wrocław coaches — Saturday 10:00am out and Monday 10:00am back — are optional. If you're making your own way, no problem at all. Just let us know which coaches you'd like in your .
Wrocław is our main recommendation, but guests extending their trip may want to explore a little further.

We would be honoured to have you join us
7 February 2027
Please let us know whether you will be attending by this date. If you're still researching flights, accommodation or transport, you can RSVP now and return later to complete those details. Accommodation and coach requirements must also be confirmed by 7 February 2027.
We kindly ask that our wedding celebrations remain an adults-only occasion. The only exception is for our nieces and nephews who will be joining us as part of the wedding party. We hope this gives everyone the opportunity to relax and enjoy the celebrations, and we thank you for your understanding.
Please complete a response for each person in your party. Each guest can attend independently.
Your presence is our greatest gift
At Polish weddings, it is traditional for guests to give money as the wedding gift, usually in a card, as a kind gesture towards the couple's future together and the celebration itself.
It is also common to bring flowers, wine or small gifts. As we'll be travelling home to England soon after the wedding, we would be very grateful to avoid anything bulky or difficult to carry. If you would like to bring something in place of flowers, scratch cards would be a lovely lighter alternative.
Share your photos from the wedding weekend
Once the wedding weekend arrives, this Phase 5 page will allow guests to upload their favourite photos and videos so we can keep all the memories in one place.
